Lift modernisation is the process of upgrading parts of a lift to ensure that the lift meets safety and legal requirements, as well as improving accessibility and energy efficiency. Important parts that are typically upgraded during modernisation include the electronics and drive system.
Lift refurbishment is primarily concerned with restoring a lift to its original condition when it was first installed, but lift modernisation services will upgrade your lift to perform even better than its original condition. Outdated components are upgraded during modernisation, whereas refurbished lifts will only receive replacements for damaged or worn components.
